When you start to get your bug out bag, every day carry, or survival kit worked out and you have most of the items you need, for me this is the time where I start to dial in the kit, taking stuff out and adding those small items that really enhance your kit.

It's no secret that I like power in the woods. It allows a person to stay out as long as needed to get the job done without have to carry large amounts of batteries, which can get both bulky in weight and pricey in cost. Some battery products can cost up to 50 bucks or more and when it comes to items like your iPod or iPad, where you can't even switch out the battery for a charged one, your only choice is to charge!

I've been look out for the best Spork I could find for my kit, I've always carved spoons and if I was really lazy I would just use sticks like chop sticks. But to be perfectly honest I want to have a solution where I didn't need to carve something every time, something that would just be in my kit ready to go.

I've always been a big fan of Eberlestock and this is the only company that I have actually gone out and bought two of their packs. The only reason I even sold the first one was I found out that they were coming out with a Multicam version and, well, I just had to have it. What sets Eberlestock apart from most for me is the detail that goes into the pack; parts of the pack are even hand stitched which you don't get in any pack that I know of!

The LHR is one knife I have been looking forward to review for awhile now; and this fighter has some features that are revolutionary in design. The first feature is the amazing sheath that GERBER has developed. They have made some very cool advancements to sheath design where there are very few these days.Add a comment
I've personally been using KATADYN water filters for over 10 years and have never had a problem with them. This is one of the reasons I keep buying and using them! If you have the money and you want the best without question, this model is the one you want. The KATADYN Pocket filter is without question the ROLEX of water filters.Add a comment
The Titan is the largest of BLACKHAWK hydration pack line; it's designed to be a three day assault pack combined with a hydration pack all in one. This model comes in the standard Coyote Tan, Black, and Olive Drab, but it also comes in two other colors, ARPAT and the new Multicam.Add a comment
The TCFM 02 is a blade I've been waiting to review for awhile now. Crusader Forge was kind enough to send me one of their fantastic TCFM 02 custom made for me! That's right folks theses knives are made to order, all Crusader Forge knives are custom-made to what the buyer desires. If you're looking for a green, brown or back handle you can get it, or if you want a different looking finish on the blade they have a number of them.Add a comment
May people have asked, 'what's the best way to power gear in the woods?' We all like to take long trips but many people need to use laptops, cell phones, radios and even TVs but like most electronics when they run out of power they're useless. That's where the PowerFilm F15-3600 comes in. This is a full featured,Add a comment
When you own an Eberlestock Terminator, the number one accessory is your scabbard. This is the part of the pack that allows you to carry a rifle. The A4SS is 60 inches long and can accommodate anything from an AR 15 to a full size Barrett .50 cal (57 inches). This allows the user to carry any gun that would be needed for the operations and keeps the gun fully covered.Add a comment
